「ギブソン・カスタムショップのビンテージなルックスを持ちながらも、入手しやすい価格帯のギターを作ることを目標にしたらどうだろうか」という発案があり、これをきっかけに、ギブソン・カスタムショップとのコラボレーションが実現。希少なビンテージ・クラシックを見事に再現したモデルとなっている。
　マホガニー・ボディにAAAフィギュアド・メイプル・トップ、演奏性に優れた1959ハンドロールド・ネック・プロファイルを採用し、そのほかにもロング・ネック・テノンやエイジド・フィニッシュ、ギブソン・バーストバッカー2&3ピックアップの搭載、スイッチクラフト製セレクター・スイッチおよびアウトプット・ジャック、CTS製ポット、50年代仕様のワイヤリング、マロリー製コンデンサー、ノンべベルド・ピックガード、エピフォン製デラックス・ビンテージ・チューナーなど、こだわりのスペックが満載。
　さらに、ボディ・バックに装着されたエピフォン・リミテッド・エディションのメタル・メダリオン・トグルスイッチ・プレートや、ブラウンのビンテージ風ハードケースの付属も特筆すべきだろう。なお、カラーはエイジド・ダーク・バーストとエイジド・ダークチェリー・バーストの2種類。その仕上がりは、ぜひ自身で確かめて欲しい。

新品の状態ですが、写真ではギブソンカスタムショップのケースで保管したため、発送する際に、エピフォンカスタムのケースでお送りいたします。
